Experienced Tutors
The Effective Education Centre is located in the heart of East Grinstead on Railway Approach, just off the main street.
We deliver first-class tutoring in all subjects for all ages, learning and life skills courses which help students develop good study habits and an ability to apply what they study, as well as free testing in English, Reading, and Maths.
Applied Scholastics
The Effective Education Centre is licensed to use Applied ScholasticsTM education services.
Applied Scholastics International is a non-profit organization formed by educators from colleges, universities and both public and private schools. Since 1972, Applied Scholastics has been offering training courses for teachers, educators, parents and college students.
The purpose of Applied Scholastics is to provide effective education services and materials that help people learn how to learn using Study Technology, enabling them to work effectively to achieve their goals and realize their full potential.

Study Technology
Based on the broad range of educational technology developed by L. Ron Hubbard, Applied Scholastics programmes enable individuals to handle the literacy and education of the children and people in their communities.
Students who know and use Study Technology can understand and apply what they have studied and retain this ability throughout their lives.
A series of books published by Applied Scholastics International is designed to present Study Technology and other educational material developed by L. Ron Hubbard in a form that is readily useable by both educators and students of all ages.
About L.Ron Hubbard
The developer of a workable educational philosophy, L. Ron Hubbard was an American writer and philosopher who became interested in education as a young man teaching English in a native school in Guam during the 1920s.
Over the next forty years Mr. Hubbard continued his research into education, and by the early 1960s, he saw fully that declining educational standards were having a profound effect on the learning abilities of people from all walks of life. His investigation of this decline, and research regarding the basic laws of education, led to a revolutionary development in the field—a technology of study. His lectures on this work were recorded and formed the basis for a whole approach to teaching and learning (referred to as Study Technology).
The Effective Education Centre owes a debt of gratitude to Mr. Hubbard, whose extensive writings on education have guided our work in education and provide fundamental guidelines and policy for the Effective Education Centre in our approach to teaching, learning and administration.
